This is an incredibly rich, easy and satisfying ice cream dessert made with fudge sauce and ice cream sandwiches. This dessert can be eaten from the freezer and keeps in the freezer very well.

Ingredients:

1 (16 ounce) can chocolate syrup

3/4 cup peanut butter

19 ice cream sandwiches

1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

1 cup salted peanuts

Directions:

Into a medium microwave-safe bowl pour the chocolate syrup and microwave about 2 minutes on high, until hot, stopping every 30 seconds.

Don not allow to boil.

Into hot chocolate stir peanut butter, until smooth.

Let cool to room temperature.

With a layer of ice cream sandwiches, line the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish.

Over the sandwiches, spread half the whipped topping. Half of the chocolate mixture, spoon over that.

Top with half the peanuts. Repeat layers.

Freeze at least 1 hour, or until firm. Cut into squares and serve.
