Easy Flourless Chocolate Cake Recipe


1 cup salted butter

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

6 eggs

1/2 cup water

2 ¼ cups ( 18 oz ) bittersweet chocolate chips


Preheat the oven to 300°F and lightly grease 9” round cake pan. Set aside.

Over medium heat in a small saucepan combine together sugar, water and salt. Stir until dissolved. Set aside.

Melt the chocolate chips.

Into the bowl of standing mixer pour melted chocolate chips.

Into 1 TBS pieces cut the butter and add into the chocolate, slowly 1 piece at a time.

Mix until combined, the warm-sugar water mixture.

One at a time add in the eggs, until smooth.

Add vanilla and beat until combined.

Into prepared pan, pour the batter.

In a larger pan, put the cake pan and fill the larger pan wit boiling water to make the water bath. Then, bake the cake for 45 minutes at 300°F.

From the water bath remove the cake and let it cool for at least 6 hours in the pan.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar, Serve and Enjoy!
